simple & easy salad

We all know that by controlling MACRO nutrient, we can reach our fitness goal but in order to reach there, the essentials must be provide through healthy vegetables and fruits. Today I have for you all my one of the easiest go to salad recipe which is not just easy to prepare but also tasty. So, let's get started.


Ingredients

  1. 100gms Cabbage

  2. 100gms Purple Cabbage

  3. 100gms CUcumber

  4. 50gms Carrot

  5. 2tbsp Greek Yoghurt

  6. 15gms Mayonnaise

  7. 10ml Olive Oil

  8. Salt

  9. Pepper powder

Procedure

First let us wash the vegetables and cut them based on our need. As i like to keep it simple, I will cut it on the lengthier side like Juliennes. You can also cut them in different shapes you desire but make sure it is not chunky as well.


Now, let prepare the dressing for the salad which is the heart of this recipe.

Take a bowl and add 2Tbsp of greek yoghurt (here i have used a high protein yoghurt to help balance the recipe). If you do not get greek yoghurt at your local shop, you can always switch with the regular yoghurt you have at home but make sure it is fresh.

To this add 15gms of Chipotle Mayonnaise and 10gms olive oil and mix it properly till the oil is completely blended with the mayo and yoghurt.


Now throw in the chopped vegetables and add salt and pepper to taste and you are good to go.


TIP: You can always mix match with the vegetables by adding Sweet corn, Capsicum, Baby turnips, Baby radish, onion, Beans and more.



TIP: Do not boil veggies as they tend to lose their nutritional value.
