Everyone loves to kill their sweet cravings when they are in diet. I have got a solution for you all because this recipe is not just a sweet/desert but also macro friendly and made of healthy ingredients which are easily available at your shop.
Ingredients
100gms Paneer
20gms Stevia/any sweeteners
2 Drops Rose essence
2 Elacichi powder
1.5 cup water
Procedure
Always try to buy a fresh paneer for this recipe because if the paneer is too old, it might give you a sour taste which is not good. Buy the fresh stock of paneer or always try to make paneer with some fat milk at home.
Blitz the 100gms fresh paneer in a mixer/grinder to a rough consistency and transfer the paneer to the board and start to knead the paneer. Do this process for 4-5 min so that the paneer starts binding to itself and form a dough consistency.
TIP: If you want a fluffy Rasgulla and a good round one, add 10gms of Maida/plain flour while you are kneading.
Once the dough forms a ball kind a shape, make them into equal simple size balls. For me, I got 6 equal size balls which are easy to help me track my macros. Once the mini rasgulla balls are ready, it is time to make the sweet syrup.
Always remember, as we are using sweetener here, the syrup will not become think. Incase if you want think, you can always use Zantum Gum for this process.
Use the 1.5 cup water and 20gms stevia and transfer them to a sauce pan and start heating. When the water starts to boil, add the Elaichi powder and rose essence and let it boil again for a min. Post which, turn down the flame and start adding the mini balls of paneer to the syrup.
Boil it agin for 4-5 min with a closed lid and keep an eye on it so that the paneer ball does not break. Once you reach 4-5min mark, turn off the flame and let the entire mix cool down and then you are ready to serve.
TIP: Do not boil more than 4-5 min as the paneer can start to break again and get mixed in the syrup.
